SMLCPP Serving Mobile Location Center Peer-to-Peer Protocol is a transport protocol for the communication between the SMLC, also known as Serving Mobile Location Centers. The main function of the SMLCPP are allowing a SMLC to obtain information about RIT (Radio Interface Timing), and allowing the SMLC, that controls the deciphering keys in the location area, to send information to other SMLC in the same location area.
