If you don't know what you want from the cloud vendor (Detailed Requirements), how do you want it (Integration, Performance, Security, SLA, etc...), and when you want it (Project management, the project will fail. When all the above are well defined and you apply performance based project management, your project has a better chance succeeding.
Of cource, if you choose a vendor in the clouds, the project will definetly fail.
