The easiest one to use personally is http://www.dodtracker.com/
It tracks all of the different deal of the day websites without needing to visit each one individually.

Depends on what you are looking for purchase-wise (or if you want to use the service: customer-wise).

Out of all of them, I use Gilt Groupe (http://www.gilt.com/) more than Groupon because I don't really need spa treatments and I like to dress like a pimp.

For me, locally www.fortworthonthecheap.com and Groupon. I have bought way more Groupon's then Living Social. But the first site listed above provides all those in one email! Awesome!

My two favorites and most used are Groupon (www.groupon.com) and Shirt Woot (http://shirt.woot.com/). Every once in a while Groupon's daily deal is perfect and I can't pass it up. Shirt Woot has a themed contest for artists and the winner gets their shirt printed. Shirts are $10 or $15 with free shipping. I own 5 woot shirts.

Forgot one more that I've really started to love: http://blackboardeats.com/

Discounts at nice(er) restaurants. You pay $1 per discount code. I've been using a fair amount for the past month or so and I feel it not only exposes new places to dine, I think the $1 for a 25-30% discount is worth the price.

I have used living social and got good a response but the 50/50 split is kind of high.

Like Andrew Babicz, I prefer to look at deal aggregation sites to save time and value deals. My preferences are Shopway http://www.shopway.com and Dealery http://dealery.com, which separate the deals by city versus dodtracker, which separates by deal category.

Shopway has a clean user interface, while Dealery covers more cities. When you look at the deal aggregation sites, you realize how many deals are national.
