I agree with Arif, with just one video, sending it around to relevant blogs is your best option. If it's very funny, I think you would have a decent chance of selling it. The optimal method very much depends on the subject of the video.
Depends upon the topic but if you researched it enough and it is of some value. I would suggest sending out to a few blogs that would post on their website or facebook. The word will spread from their front page to their front page. My two cents.
