What is the difference between videoconferencing and video teleconferencing?

I think that video teleconference is an older term used once video was 'invented' as applied to traditional teleconferencing...also, this is going back a few years, cameras and phones were not integrated as a single element so one needed a phone and a camera as two separate devices to provide a video and tele-conference. The name just kinda stuck as a video-teleconference....shortened today to the more common video-conference, some day to be replaced by telepresence I suspect.....
