What kinds of issues has your business, or someone you know, dealt with while using Wi-Fi VOIP phones?

I have not had any experience using Wi-Fi VOIP phones and would like to get some more information. Give me your opinion. I would imagine that the signal is not as strong as regular handsets. What is your input?

Actually the signal for Wi-Fi VOIP phones are dependant on the number of Wireless Access Points that you have in place and if you have QOS (Quality of Service) activated on your network. The quality of these phones can be very good. You typically lose some of the functionality of your desk phone but this is a great solution if you are looking for something mobile. Please feel free to contact me if you would like more information.

The wifi system needs to be managed so the phones can roam between access points, and that a consistent policy can be applied over the access points. This policy includes VLANS, QOS, and security.

From My self experience with the pfone,SSW and the diferent networks fix and wirles line ,is not the pfone with basic volume bud the Voip Platforms Softswitch will compres the Voice for the line Wi-Fi Voip.
Every networks Wi-Fi Voip is the sems like GSM service and in the GSM service all the platform will compres the Voice, and the PTT from begin compres the voice .For that's in Wi-Fi handsetsis not the culprit ,are much factore Voip Carrers with not premium rout, or the codec are not in harmony with the software ,are much factors in the play for this service.
