What marketing topics do you want to see?
I'm planning out the content for DIYMarketers for 2011 and I want to know what CEOs of million dollar companies with NO marketing department want to know so they can do great marketing with little or no budget. I've pulled a quick survey together here: http://questionpro.com/t/AS9BZIMDN

I would to see more discussions around marketing campaign execution experiences and tips and hacks for getting better results. How to build a better list, how to cleanse the list, how to segment the marketing database to send targeted campaigns, how to track campaigns, how to A/B test, how to roll up the results and so on. I think all of us will benefit a lot from hearing case studies and experiences about each of these execution steps. The "how" is really more important now than the "what".
Cheers!
Hi Vaibhav - Thanks so much for that answer! Where do you normally go for this kind of information? I'm assuming that you haven't found good enough how-to info there. Do you have an expert in this area whose work you admire? Just curious.
Ivana, I have found MarketingSherpa the closest so far and their material has always been valuable. But I feel it would be awesome for everyone to share what worked and what didn't for them so we have the power of the crowd to come up with tips and tricks that everyone can leverage. I hope to share some of what we know and I just posted a LinkedIn related question which I will be answering myself also to share our tips. Hope that helps.
I love marketing sherpa too. And I completely agree with your assessment - that's what's missing for me -- the short cuts. They do an amazing job of providing all the information. But I'd like to filter out the "mistakes" and the learning curve if that's possible...
Yes - that helps. Alot.
I've just been on your web site and am really impressed by what you offer. So it seems that you are the expert on a lot of these topics you mentioned. My audience is CEOs of million dollar companies with NO marketing department and Lead Generation is a HUGE issue for them. Would you be interested in contributing some guest articles on your area of expertise - specifically list development, list cleaning, etc., Let me know.
