Nothing very much at all on its own! It will be how it is managed and implemented through the line management population that will get results. What will be of value is a clear evidenced based feedback mechanism. Why is it important? Without knowing how well your people are performing, you cannot know how effective your business performance is and ultimately you will not have a handle on the profitability and whether or not this is improving or deteriorating
