What sales contact software do you use?

I am a heavy equipment salesman, and am looking for some sort of sales contact software to help me keep track of my prospects and current clients. This is not something that the entire organization would use. I wouldn't want to spend more than $15 per month on the system and I'd like it to sync between my laptop and my blackberry if possible. I need to be able to collect customer data, and have calendar and reminder tools. What type of system would you suggest for me?

Hi Sam,

You may want to look at Zoho CRM Professional http://www.zoho.com/crm/zohocrm-pricing.html although I don't know if the blackberry sync exists. An MS Outlook plug-in is available if you are syncing between CRM and Outlook - then around the horn to blackberry.

Of course salesforce.com has an individual application that serves as a contact manager also.

Hope that helps.

Good Luck and Great Selling!

It sounds like your needs are very simple. You don't give much information, so it would be helpful to get a better sense of what features you really need. For example, are you looking only to store names, address, and contacts or do you also want lead tracking, notes, or automation?

Assuming you only want a place to store the names and addresses of contacts, then look at tools such as Outlook or Google Contacts. Both will synchronize with a Blackberry.

Please add any additional requirements you might have, and I will try to answer more completely on the basis of that information.

I've been using Zoho CRM for years and it does support BlackBerry via Opera Mini mobile web browser.

Used SalesForce and Act before but I like ZoHo best. Very customizable for the tech savvy.

Another great thing about ZoHo is the amount of other apps they have. Really good company.
