What should I expect to pay for sales lead management software?

The cost of lead management software depends on your needs and also whether you would like an in-house solution or a hosted solution. Most CRM apps will provide lead management functionality. However, I would recommend a holistic approach and include automated lead nurturing as well.

I have just joined this forum, so probably a bit late, sorry.

I think the true answer should be a percentage of your lead generation spend, why would you spend £750 managing something that cost £200 to find? You should consider your annual marketing spend and probably drop it by 7%-12% and spend the excess in tracking and managing the leads you find, this way you will not spend any more money, an appealing solution, and hopefully although you will end up with less leads by managing them correctly you should convert more!

I own a call center and have been generating leads for many years only to see my clients offer them out to sales guys and partners for them not to be followed up, this led me to develop some in-house tools and now a stand alone business www.leadreporter.com to tackle these problems.

They start at 0$ and go up and up and up depending on functionality and the number of users. You should also consider integration with your ERP system so that you can "perform credit checks, and process orders" as Matt has suggested. www.SageCRM.com
