The shortest source to finding prospects for me has become Twitter, overtaking LinkedIn which is still a strong 2nd place.
Twitter has an immediacy to it's flow, and many times opportunities are created when you are in the right place at the right time. Use it as a "listening" tool and you will be surprised what you find.
The key is to find the best words to be listening for.
