I don't have much to say on the topic of supply chain management, but I have read Richard Horn's Brief, "Supply Chain Management - A Beginner's Brief". It's a great read if you are getting into supply chain management. He also happens to be a Focus Expert, so I'm sure it's good quality. Here's a link to the article:

Supply chain management [SCM] is basically about oversight of materials, information & finances as they move in a process from supplier to manufacturer to wholesaler then to retailer to consumer.
