'Events' has long been one of three ways (Q&A and Research, the others) by which Focus enables experts to share expertise with the business community.
Late 2010, we began experimenting with Expert Roundtables as a way to bring a handful of knowledgeable experts around a proverbial table to have a free-flowing discussion around topic. Although purely phone-based, these events were highly successful with both members and experts.
We saw a great opportunity to make Roundtables much more interactive between attendees and panelists and overall a much more social, not too mention accessible, experience if facilitated online. That's why we built the Live Event App.
