This is a very general question and the right answer depends on what you are trying to get accomplished, how your audience prefers to get email and what type of content they like to consume. Things to think about:
1. what is your desired outcome
2. how does your audience typically get to that outcome
3. what content do they need to help them move to that outcome
4. what is the optimal frequency of sends
5. what design/layout/format is best received by your audience
6. how are you going to manage that process?
7. what email marketing/marketing automation system best fits your needs?
those are just a few off the top of my head and I would not classify myself as an email marketing expert.
