It all depends upon what OS's you need to support
MS works just about flawlessly for Windows, but is restricted to Windows OS's and has some limitations on memory sizes.
Xen is free works just about flawlessly for Linux, with the proviso that you must use the very latest Linux releases, eg Suse 11.2 if you are using i7 processors. It is not reliable enough for production use with Windows OS's
The enterprise versions of VMWare works just about flawlessly for both Linux and Windows, but is expensive. The non-enterprise versions impose severe memory limitations.
I do not know much about Sun's Logical Domains, but I would rather drink Drano than trust in a company whose future is so uncertain.
