What's the best way to set up an online payment system?

We just launched a website for our small boutique a few months ago and we want to start allowing people to purchase our items online, but I have no idea where to start. What's the easiest way to set one up? Is there a specific company that I should talk to that sets up online payment systems?

So many to choose from. Since we handle recurring and one-off transactions for our clients seeking ad agency size solutions, my company went with AcceptPay.com, owned by American Express.
It's solutions are focused on small businesses. The monthly service fee is $20 and the fees are competitive. Check them out.
Best of luck Rachel!

We too are a SME. I would suggest paypal as it's quick & easy to set up. Just go to thier website and follow instructions for trade. There is a 2% charge for each transaction but when we researched we found that this was actually really competitive in comparison to others. Hope this helps.
