Where can I get an introduction to entrepreneurship?
I’ve always had ideas about starting a business, but don’t have any entrepreneurial experience. Where can I go to get an introduction to entrepreneurship and learn about the entrepreneurial business process?

Mark,
You attack the web! You google all of your questions and you get involved in as many conversations as possible on LinkedIn, Focus, Twitter, Facebook, or any other social network out there. There are many business professionals right now who are willing to provide you with free information about their trials and errors and their success stories too. Be careful though about the advice you take from some individuals. Also, read books about entrepreneurship and law. The law is going to be a close friend if you decide to start a business. As CEO, you need to be educated in as many areas as possible because you are the one who should be answering your employees questions. Good luck and make sure you have a great business plan!

The whole idea of being an entrepreneur is putting your ideas in motion. Another part of being an entrepreneur is taking on tasks and risks yourself and figuring out the solution to your questions. I would start by going to your local library and checking out as many entrepreneur and "how to start a business" books that you can find. I would read them and take notes. After you get a better understanding of starting a business you can come back and ask more in-depth questions. It's no easy task in starting your business. I wish you the best of luck on your future endeavors.
If you are looking for formal classes, many economic development offices in City, County and State Government offer classes.
You can also check local colleges and Universities as the business department will usually offer Entrepreneurial classes.
Your Local Library, the Web as stated above, Networking with others and joining business associations or groups in your area.
Even business textbooks can have useful information. The Small Business Administration, etc....
It really just depends on which specific subjects you are looking into. Be creative, even ask business leaders iun your area for informational interviews. You may get in the door, you may not. You may even make a new friend and mentor, customer or even someone willing to assist in financing your venture. Anything is possible.
