Where can I learn about the SBA loan requirements?
My company was recently turned down for a loan from a couple of different banks. It was suggested we try applying for an SBA loan, but were warned of the "requirements" to be eligible. Where can I find a list of said requirements, and is it necessary that all of them be fulfilled?

David, your first and best source is the SBA website, www.sba.org. The site is loaded with information about their various programs, however it can be confusing and time consuming to navigate. Another suggestion is to locate an SBA branch office near you, call and ask questions through them. Your local SCORE branch should also be able to give you some guidance.
As with any search through the government it can be complex and confusing, I suggest patience and perseverance.
As for filling requirements and exceptions, the broad answer is "it depends" Exceptions can be made but it depends on your particular situation and the exception being requested or considered.
I wish I could be of more help but without knowing the details of your situation, it is hard for me to be any more precise.
Hope I've helped a little.
www.sba.gov is the official government site for SBA info. They have links.
