Sarah,
What kind of terminals are you looking for? If you can send me a little more information I can send you some information on terminals. We represent a company called Tiger Capital Management, LLC who deals in merchant accounts and POS equipment.
Here is a site with reviews on various companies that can offer you terminals.

Regardless of the type of company you have, a terminal for you should not cost much more than $2-300.
You'll need to be sure that the terminal is PCI compliant (in other words, you should probably not buy a used one on EBay - most of them are no longer compliant - or they won't be as of July of this year.
Do not Lease one. Lease terms are usually $39-$69 per month for 5 years - for a $200 terminal. These leases are always "NON-CANCELLABE", and often have termination costs that are exorbitant.
Several companies I work with all offer terminals at cost that are guaranteed PCI compliant. You can purchase them interest-free over a 6-month period.
