We’re evaluating Aquest Hosting and Planet Hosting as potential sql server hosting providers. Are there any other companies that should be considered? Also – are there any local sql server hosting providers in the Dallas/Ft Worth area? Thanks

Webhostingtalk.com has a nice forum on it that you can look at. It is full of provider reviews that you can use to get what others have experienced.
You can also check datacentermap.com to find data centers in the area you are looking for and then identify those who offer managed servers.
My bad. The hosting providers listed by Netcraft probably do not specialize in Microsoft SQL Server.
Checkout Rackspace.com/SQL and http://www.alentus.com/hosting/sqlserver.asp as well as http://www.firehost.com/about for a secure option.
