Which ones have you used? And why is it better than others? (For iPhone, Android, Blackberry)

Salesforce.com Mobile is excellent. Mobile Lite comes with the product and is currently available for IPhone and Blackberry. Will be available for Android later this year. Its easy to use. Mobile Lite gives you read/write access (subject to account security) to all the standard tabs in Salesforce.com plus calendars, call logging etc.

If you have a lot of customisation in your account and need access to your custom tabs, then the Full Mobile product is for you. This means for those customers who use apps like Financials, Inventory etc, they are all available via the mobile interface. (again subject to the internal security regime). With Full Mobile, you also have more control over the mobile configuration.

Whereas I used to lug my notebook EVERYWHERE, I now find my B'Berry with SFDC mobile is all I need as I have my business in my hand so these days, the notebook only gets a ticket to ride on lengthier trips away from home.

There is also Chatter for Mobile which is simply brilliant as you can be part of the conversation, no matter where you are!

I favour integrated CRM's (integrated with ERP's). I don't see the point of re-entering CRM and sales info into 2 different systems. That said:
The integrated CRM in xtuple Postbooks, has a mobile component called ituple, which runs on iphone. Everything is free, open source and quite functional.

My second choice would be the integrated CRM in OpenERP which also has mobile add-ons for iphone and android.

I agree with Julie Pearson, the SFDC app is fantastic. However, If you're not a fan of SFDC Zoho-CRM is a great single-user option.

Microsoft CRM Online and on-premise versions include the free browser based Mobile Express that works nicely on any large screen phone. Several firms such as CWR Mobility and TenDigits make MS CRM apps that I would look at if you will be making heavy use via handheld. In the new CRM 2011 version you can easily customize the mobile layout. I've been deploying CRM since it was the Act! Contact Manager in 1989. I've never been this excited about a new software product. I upgraded our own in house instance to CRM 2011 two weeks ago. The customization is so easy that I've been doing it on the fly as I work, implementing ideas that in previous versions (or SFDC which I ran for years) would have taken too long to implement.

Resco MobileCRM is the top solution if you have a MS Dynamics server. It works in a offline mode so you can access your data from server anywhere you go. Currently it is available for iOSiPhone/iPad, Android, Windows Mobile and Windows Phone 7. You can customize your own entities, change colors, rebrand your app, add/delete/modify all functions. The customization can be made via Resco MobileCRM Builder (easy customization, no developing skills needed) or Resco MobileCRM Studio (more sophisticated customization in Visual Studio). You can try the app for free. Check the website for more information

One of MS CRM's shortcomings is its lack of a true native Mobile application, though there are a few 3rd party products that are decent.

Salesforce.com's native app is solid.

Sage SalesLogix and SugarCRM have recently released pretty nice mobile apps.

Mobile and tablet based access and functionality is becoming a more important driver for many companies.

Native Apps are usually lacking many of the important features so it is important to look also at CRM which are optimized to be used from mobile devices.

We actually put together a list of CRM which have an optimized interface for mobile device. You can check it out here http://www.getapp.com/software-system/iPhone-iPad/crm-software You can filter with other mobile devices
