Chad, I know you only want one answer, but I have to give you two............
Both quality & service are a top priority to me because I can't have one without the other.
In order to keep my customers, I have to offer personal service & build a relationship with them so I'm not just another vendor in an overcrowded field. I have to stand out from the others by putting my best foot forward while I offer the best quality possible.
But if I don't offer top quality also, then it won't matter how good my service is. Their logo & company name is on the products they buy from me. Those are the promotional items they hand out to represent & advertise their business--it's part of their brand & who they are so quality is a primary priority to them.
And that's why I can't distinquish between quality or service as being the most important--they go hand in hand.
I hope this answers your question. Good luck.
Given that my company is what would be considered stage I, client acquisition is my top priority. Without 3rd - 4th - 5th, etc. generation clients, I wouldn't have a business. :-D
