Which malware scanner is the most effective?
I see a lot of malware scanners online, but can't tell which ones are best. Has anyone had a positive experience with any of them?

I have had great success with malwarebytes www.malwarebytes.org and super antispyware http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html. There are times when you need an experienced IT person to get rid of some of the more virulent types.
The two above packages should handle most issues that you come across though.
