Which marketing automation vendors r the top 3 in providing B2C solutions?
There are many B2B lead nurturing, campaign management or marketing automation vendors. Is any company really focusing on providing B2C solutions?
B2C solutions need to market to consumers and contacts not leads. Are there any Marketing Automation tools that really focus on consumers vs leads?

Am constantly being asked this question!
B2B vendors have done a great job of defining their market, but the B2C market tends to be a lot more disparate. As previous commenters have noted, vendors like Unica, Aprimo and Marketo do serve B2C clients. These tools are great at managing conversion once you have an interested user.
What we do (http://idioplatform.com) is help brands manage the content marketing process further up the funnel. Using curated and authored content, we deliver a personalised multi-channel content proposition - about the aspirations and lifestyle of the target audience. This attracts potential customers and advocates, and also generates very detailed customer insight.
Hi Jesus,
Good question. You should check out Unica and Neolane - both have expertise in B2C. I think for B2C, it's not so much which company, but the functionality that enables cross-channel marketing and more opportunities for dynamic content delivery based on the recognition of lead characteristics.
The other vendor you may want to look at is Omniture.
Since you don't say what type of B2C business, those are my off-the-top thoughts.
Jesus,
HubSpot is a great choice for SMB. You may also want to look at Genoo - if the company needs a website and the ability to easily publish content in addition to marketing automation functionality. (disclosure, my sister owns the company).
Jesus,
Hubspot is a terrific inbound marketing platform. Genoo is a very cost-effective marketing automation offering too. I'm a customer of Genoo, which is owned by Ardath's sister. I've had good results with it. It's strong at landing pages and lead nurturing. They also frequently improve it.
Jesus, como anda ? I couldnt help but answer your question, for your B2C solution for Latin America. Check us out at www.castelmec.com see our Youtube video Castelmec on how Sharp Electronics Corp used our very unique turn key B2B and B2C exclusively for Latin America.

Ardath, thanks! I have looked at Unica and Neolane. Will look into Omniture. But here comes my next question.
I am looking for a B2C solution for the SMB market and the Latin American region. So far I came up with Hubspot.
I agree with you regarding a solution that enables cross-channel marketing and more opportunities for dynamic content delivery based on the recognition of lead characteristics.
Thanks for the feedback. I now have something to compare Hubspot.. Still looking for other options for the Latin American market. I am familiar with the enterprise tools but most of them are expensive for Latam and are B2B centric. For Latam and SMB I see the need for more B2C marketing automation tools.
I'll put a biased vote in for ActiveConversion; I'd argue that we have a very compelling value vs feature set for three or four hundred per month. One of our customers who evaluated lots of competitors said that we do 80% of what Marketo does, for 20% the cost of Marketo.
ActiveConversion.. will look into it... Thanks!
I am still looking for a B2C solution... instead of creating leads and alerts for Sales Rep it needs to provide a way to email or text coupons, offers, reminders, invitation to events, find retail stores, find comments and reviews about your products, integrate with POS, surveys, referrals, etc, etc. Maybe the solution is something like ATG and Marketo combine.
Brian, when can we chat? my email is jesus.hoyos@solvisconsulting.com
Thanks!
Top B2C marketing automation vendors are Aprimo, Unica, Neolane and SAS. SAP CRM 7 is also very good.
We have many customers using one of the following from large enterprise to medium sized organisations. For an on premise solution MarketFirst and for a hosted offering you can look at MarketBright and Exact Target.
A little plug here, though something you should take into consideration: Marketo has been helping both B2B and B2C clients achieve success (and fast ROI) with our marketing automation solution. Admittedly we have more B2B clients than B2C, though we do have lots of great B2C success stories. Feel free to reach out if you would like to hear about these successes: sales@marketo.com. Note: We have customers in over 14 countries, including Latin America!
Happy to hear that the Latin American marketers have a growing need for marketing automation solutions!
If you are looking for the ability to engage with customers on a truly individual level with each interaction connected into an ongoing cross-channel dialogue then you should consider www.portraitsoftware.com which is now part of Pitney Bowes Business Insight. They can also embed all forms of geospatial intelligence into both segmentation and offer management.
Captavi www.captavi.com (disclosure - I am the CEO) combines Captavi QixSuite, a marketing automation suite with CMS, email application, online event registration and management, and built-in CRM for intelligent profiling and ZenCart for a truly effective B2C marketing automation solution. We also include Google Analytics and AWSTATS in the configuration for great analytic insights.
