Which self service ad platforms are easiest to use?
I am looking for advertising platforms that are simple and intuitive enough so that even small businesses can use them.

For all of Google's Draconian ways, Adwords is still the gold standard, IMO. It is just an exceptional product and the lowest common denominator of human inputs has used it by the tens of millions for years. Very few platforms can say that, especially in B2B.
Google probably owns the #2 spot with Doubleclick/DART, too. I just don't use it enough to pressure test it and don't want to stray out of my lane too far.
Facebook Ads is getting there and I believe ultimately it'll be the Social Adwords/Adsense as they move from user product to revenue product (public shareholders needs and all).
There are site- or network-specific ad platforms in mature verticals that have made media buying much more efficient in recent years. PlentyOfFish comes to mind (Albro, I know you want to spam cougars). LinkedIn isn't too shabby either.
Companies like Marin Software that integrate a number of these platforms into their own environment do a great job of making the workflow much more efficient, so they should be included on that basis.
