Which spyware removal tool would you recommend to the non-techie?
I run a small business with no tech support to speak of. We've run into some spyware problems, but I'm not particularly computer savvy. What spyware removal tool would you recommend for the technically challenged?

I have had Webroot for 4 years and never had any spyware problems, and have not had my computer slow or have any major issues. Real simple to install and use.
Thanks for your recommendation, Ben. I checked out some reviews and they were pretty mixed. Pros: Easily to install and operate Cons: Terrible customer support. I'll do a bit more digging. Again, thanks for your recommendation.
We recommend Sunbelt's Vipre - combined anti malware/spyware/virus. Great customer support and cheap price. (www.sunbeltsoftware.com)
We've also used spybot s&d and adaware as two free products.
AVG free is good as is Spybot and Ad Aware, all are free to download and use, each has a pay version for business. Download.com is a great source of programmes and provides user ratings.
Full disclosure, I am a former Norton employee. That having been said, I do recommend their products. The stuff is basically install and forget and they have made great improvements over the last couple of years in minimizing the footprint of the software (i.e. how much memory the programs consume, cpu usage, etc.).
It's usually not to difficult to get the first year free (with rebates, etc.), someone is always offering a $0 Norton Anti-virus promotion.
Malwarebytes (Malwarebytes.org) is a safe bet.
I'm also partial to Ad-Aware (www.lavasoft.com) which has been mentioned before. It's the pioneer in this segment of software and still a terrific product.
Also, make the switch to Firefox and use the "No Script" extension because prevention is better than cure!
