For unified solution for businesses the two largest competitiors at the moment would be both Cisco and IBM. Though the two have two different ideologies when it comes to unified communications and IT frame works.
IBM uses modular and scalable solutions to ensure a solution will interact well with existing resources. Where as with the Cisco solution has certain limitation when it comes to the IT backbone. This causes a restriction in the type of connectivity and communications mediums with devices forcing the customer to upgrade their backbone and larger parts of their infrastructure.
