The most recognized name in headsets for telephon purposes is Plantronics, who have owned the market for decades.
There are other manufacturers as well with great products - Jabra and Sennheiser are two other brands.
i currently use a jabra headset on my snom 370 and it works really well sound quality is not as good as on the handset but as far as headsets go sound quality is very good
Lee, you state the headset is not as good as the handset. Is this a wireless headset by chance?
It is wireless sorry i should have made myself clear. I also have a Snom 320 with the Snom headset and these are first class and have superior sound quality 10/10.
We have seen many compatibility issues with some plantronics headsets when used with some VoIP equipment mainly due to impedance miss matches.
We sell mostly Plantronics headsets with our VoIP systems. They work great on our HD network. I use a Plantronics headset and the sound is so clear and crisp you can hear everything. You almost have to be careful because the sound is so good. I 'mute' my phone when I am on a conference call and have to use my keyboard for example.
