Hmm...virtual private servers are offered by a growing number of Web hosting companies, as an alternative to fully shared and fully dedicated hosting. With VPSs, the client typically has full access to a complete instance of the server operating system of choice, and can run software on it without worrying (too much) about privacy or performance issues. However, depending on your hosting provider's ratio of virtual to physical servers, you may or may not see limitations placed on your use of processing power or storage.
It is critical that you look closely and carefully at business needs and user expectations before deploying VPSs, alone or in concert with other hosted services or premise-based servers. VPSs can provide a lot of freedom and flexibility, but they must be managed to be fully effective, secure and reliable. Who manages them and how responsibly is at least as important as any other selection criterion, and more important than many. Look at several hosting companies, and make sure you're getting an "apples-to-apples" comparison of features, pricing and resiliency and recovery alternatives. Failure may not be an option, but guaranteed terms for recovery from failure must be included in any contract for any hosted services.

There is no difference between VPS (virtual private networks ) and Virtual dedicated networks.......there are many providers in the market like Verio,Inmotion,Swarm etc.

Two. Support &
Three. Support!
Today, hardware & connectivity for a very large band of providers is a commodity. What differentiates a customer experience, and thereby value, from one provider to another is how well they are supported and what is the scope and cost of such support.
