Take a look at CompareHRIS.com. We list 22 of the industry's leading HR and Payroll software systems and a number of comparison tools of those systems. Make sure to download our HR and Payroll software buyers guide, it's packed with helpful tips to assist with your search.
If you are doing your accounting and payroll in-house you might want to consider Quickbooks Online. You can do your books from anywhere and you are always using the most up to date info when you go to your CPA for taxes or other reports. See: http://quickbooksonline.intuit.com/finance-accounting-solutions/ for pricing, online and chat support, and training.

We use Microsoft Great Plains and we are a larger organization. It's nice because it's also what we use for our financials so it integrates into the general ledger easily. And it's a lot more cost effective than ADP!
Quickbooks is the leading small business accounting software. My company has been working with the software for many years and our client base takes advantage of its many benefits.
We recently took help of USourceIT to find a Payroll Software for our company.and they helped us without charging even a single penny -:)

Hi Liz,
I used to speak quite a bit with SMB buyers looking for payroll solutions, so hopefully I can offer a bit of insight. The options that Tom and Anna mentioned (Quickbooks, Microsoft, and ADP) are definitely strong contenders. All of the products are very reputable, and offer features that will let you integrate the system with other areas of your office.
If you're looking to outsource your payroll, along with ADP I'd consider looking into: Ceridian, PayChex, or PayCycle. PayChoice used to be another strong option, but they've had data breaches lately which makes me hesitant to recommend them.
As I mentioned, Microsoft and QuickBooks are strong software options. I also recommend Peachtree as another payroll software option. My mom actually uses Peachtree for her small business, and has never had a problem with it.
If you're still looking for more information, check out some of the free Focus research that is available for your use. Our Payroll Services Buyer's Guide (http://www.focus.com/research/buyers-guides/human-resources/buyers-guide-payr...), and our Payroll Providers Comparison Guide (http://www.focus.com/research/comparison-guides/human-resources/comparison-gu...) will be very useful for you.
Best of luck!
