Will Apple ever try to push into the enterprise IT market?
Lately Apple has started to capture some of the enterprise market without even trying. Will they start to develop new products to support those customers or are they happy in the consumer space?

They may eventually realize that that the enterprise market is profitable enough to pursue more earnestly. They have started to push their server systems on shops that have a large enough set of Apple desktops and mobile devices.
The problem is that as an organization, they have never been geared up for enterprise support, and they've only recently found their calling in the past few years as a consumer electronics and entertainment company.
They might make a push, but I suspect it is after Steve Jobs is no longer at the helm. Their corporate culture is all about style and elegance, rather than effectiveness and utility. While there are some markets where this will be a fit, it's not true of most enterprises.

I agree with Andrew on this one. That said, just as Cisco is trying to build consumer cachet with sexy products like Flip and Valet, at some point Apple may do the same for the business market.
Sure, this market is less interested in cool products, but let me come back to Cisco for a moment. They recently announced Cius - their iPad - for the business market. It's too early to tell if it will ever catch on, but if it does, this will validate this product category as a business tool. At that point, you can be sure Apple will be looking for ways to claim their share of the pie.
Many other products/apps could follow the same path, but overall, I think for Apple to move in this direction, they would have to be at a point where the consumer market is saturated for them, and business will simply be the next growth frontier. I know it's hard to imagine what Apple's next BIG THING will be, but at this point, really, what else is there for them to invent for consumers?
