Windows 7 Back Up Software
Does Microsoft make a back up software that is designed to work with Windows 7? I already have a 1 TB Western Digital drive that I want to back everything up to, but I was hoping to find a system to automate it all. What would you recommend? This would just be for my office computer, not a whole network.

Windows 7 has a built in backup function, click on start bubble in the lower left hand corner, then control panel on the right menu, then under systems and security should be a "back up your computer" link, click on it then follow the prompts. Here is a link to more info. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/features/backup-and-restore.aspx
I personally do not do full system backups, I do file syncs using software like
http://allwaysync.com/

http://fullsync.sourceforge.net/
For me this is my bread and butter, i sometimes synch between 4-5 pc's at a time. It allows me to set up relationships between folders and synch 1 way, or bi-directionally. This also saves me time since a sync only updates the changes (like an incremental or delta) and i dont have to backup the entire unneeded OS.
