Wireless phones for small company?

We are a company of 6 consultants who all work out of home offices. We are all using our iPhones to send and receive phone calls, but want a more professional appearance. How can we create one central solution to receive and route all of our company’s phone calls as well as prevent our associates from receiving calls after hours?

Dale,

I would recommend you look into a hosted telephony system, specifically a Voice-over IP product. This is an ideal phone solution for a small business, especially if everyone is working remotely. The phones themselves will range in price, but you can find them as low as 100 dollars, and perhaps lower. What is better, given that the system is hosted, each employee will have ONLY the phone at his desk. You can set up the system with auto attendant or call routing, and even forwarding to your iPhones. This will give you the professional feel you are looking for. Some names in the industry for small businesses are: Aptela, Vocalocity, Packet8, Cisco.

Hi Dale,

We would all need a little more detail befor egiving you a conclusive answer, your iphones have the ability to run a SIP client which will route the calls to your iphones. (providing your within wifi access) But once again need to know more about what you currently have today.
Are you using a voip platform if so what?

Cheers

Dean
