Would you add a 'check-in' button to your website?
The location based check-in market has proven incredibly valuable to local businesses. If websites, internet retailers, and online locations could "claim their domain' and create check-in deals...what sort of impact would this have on the social marketing landscape? Would you do it? Thanks in advance for your feedback!

It's a good idea, particularly if a company can set up a rewards or incentives program for frequent visitors and long term, meaningful engagement. Game mechanics might also be a useful application of online check-ins. Currently, game mechanics online incent heavier forms of behavior, things like contributing a piece of content. It could be interesting to try to incent lighter forms of behavior like simply visiting a website.
