Would you bill your clients for writing quality email?

I am thinking to bill my clients for writing well thought out email. I am thinking to attach a price tag to the email which I send it to my client. Once the client pay the price, then only he/she get my actual email. What do you think about this situation? Is it fair to do it? Is there any application out there which does this? Let me know. Thanks a lot in advance for reading this & answering the question.

Hi Ankur,

Are you writing the email on behalf of the client? For example, has someone asked you to craft an email that they can then send to their customers and prospects? If that is what you mean, then certainly you can charge them, as you are producing a product for their consumption.

The key to this is, you have to first come to agreement with your client on the terms. You absolutely can't surprise them with a bill for something they thought was free.
