Highlights

Smartphones and tablets remain ever-prevalent, and the trend of employees using these devices for business purposes, whether sanctioned or unsanctioned, is on the rise. So Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies, and the way enterprise IT departments should handle them, is a topic that generates a lot of discussion and controversy. There are many facets to the topic of BYOD, but this event covered the following:
·What are the benefits and drawbacks of BYOD?
·Is BYOD inevitable, and what can be done to support it?
·Which vendors and tools allow you to best manage BYOD environments?

I am receiving more unsolicited spam since I attended this event. Is that how Focus operates?

Michael, community members who sign up for an event receive a post event notification that a recording of the event is now posted to the site. You may also receive a notification if you asked or answered a question during the event and someone else answers that question. Both of these emails are meant to notify you of additional community activity that may be of interest to you. Most importantly, you have full control over whether you receive email from Focus. You can manage your email preferences by clicking on the "Account Settings" link under the "Your Name" tab that appears in the upper right corner of the site header. -- Scott

Scott - Thanks for the additional information. I am OK with the Focus notifications. It is email from other, sales-oriented sources not known to me that suddenly appeared with greater frequency AFTER I had attended the event. That's all.

Regards,
Mike

Michael, No problem. Talk is cheap, but I can assure you that we are not sharing your information with anyone. Happy to discuss further if you'd like.
