Highlights

Compensation communications are challenging in any year. For one thing it takes real insight to send clear, concise messages about competitive practices. Plus compensation communications involve an unusual mix of business issues and personal emotions that can be difficult to navigate.

While HR’s compensation communications plans often focus on getting emails out on time and populating the company’s intranet, employees believe that their managers are the most reliable communications channel. We will be far more effective when we recognize the value of the day-to-day contact that managers have with employees, especially in a pay-for-performance environment.

Learn how we can do a better job of helping managers communicate in our tough compensation environment.  Topics include:

  • How HR can demonstrate stronger communications leadership
  • Resources and tools that managers like to use
  • Approaches that work for top performing companies
