Would cloud adoption benefit more from community specifications rather than open standards?
Would more organizations (small, medium or large) be able to embrace the cloud more aggressively if the focus was on community driven specifications rather than open standards for the cloud stack? Would this approach allow vendors to solve the business problems presented by the community in whatever way they saw fit?(This seems to be more of the approach that Open Data Center Alliance is taking)
