MAI Series: A Sales View of Marketing Automation

There has been so much written and discussed about marketing automation. However, the majority of that has been directed to or from the perspective of the marketer. It could be argued that while marketers are the users of automation technology, sales are the beneficiary. Today we looked at marketing automation from a sales perspective. Topics for the roundtable included:
- Why sales should care about marketing automation
- What role should sales play in the design and development of a marketing automation strategy
- How do organizations who have had success with automation overcome the potential barriers between marketing and sales
- What practical steps can sales reps and sales management take to assist their marketing counterparts in the adoption and increased effectiveness of marketing automation
The Focus-MAI Roundtable is presented to provide end users and marketing automation professionals with the knowledge and education they need to perform more effectively.
