In the area of predictive analytics there is a new product to watch/try, Predixion Software. It's based on Excel2010/PowerPivot and the businesslogic/analysis is done through a SaaS. It has the potential to change the whole gane!

What do you think about Epicor's Smarter Business Intelligence initiative?

I think it's high time BI became an integral part of ERP. It doesn't necessarily replace the need for stand alone BI tools. But it goes a long way towards making BI more pervasive.
