Should a Community Manager also be responsible for general customer support as well or should that be a different person entirely?

Aside from hard skills like content creation, what are the most important soft skills effective Community Managers possess? Patience? Humour? Empathy?

I think intuition is also an important skill. By this I mean the ability to read situations and then respond accordingly. Empathy is one aspect of this, but it is also an innate understanding of human behaviour. more
