Should marketers to try to segment customers by culture, or is culture too broad to be actionable?
Segments are only useful if they are actionable. Segmentation should be done so that the company can more effectively buy advertising or design product/services offerings, or some other action. In general, culture is actionable. But of course it depends on how exactly culture is defined ... more
