All the Employers that I have worked for (Fortune 150s) during my 25 yrs in HR have granted paid time off for religious Holidays (e.g., Passover, Kwanza, Ramadan, Christmas). It was stated in the Employee Handbook and honored by all Employers. more

I agree with Karin that you should understand why they do not think that diversity is important in the workplace. It may be that your boss think he/she is being diverse by not discriminating, but is not being diverse by your definition.
