What employee retention methods do you find most helpful?

Have one-on-one meetings with employees, hold routine department meetings, and survey employees. Sometimes the way to figure out what will help retain an employee is to go straight to the source. Ask your employees what would keep them engaged. more

What personality traits predict higher job satisfaction?

I agree with Ed. Matching personality characteristics with the job factors or job characteristics increases satisfaction. Basic satisfaction with a certain amount of challenge and community can positively impact retention, engagement, teamwork and overall productivity.
