While I agree that seeking repeat business is preferable to winning new converts, in some service-based markets (higher education and non-profits) if you’ve done your job, your customers go away – which results in a constant need for new ones. more

Sounds like you probably want to be a public charity. From the program standpoint, it won't make much difference. But, if at some point you decide to seek outside grant funding, that status might make it easier for you. more
