Are the technical terms LPAR and Virtual Machine interchangeable?

How does a virtual machine move from one to another seamlessly?

What is the tipping point for internal cloud success? ROI data, use cases, compliance mandates, security breaches, etc. - or nothing?

Despite the many ways in which businesses are similar, even businesses in the same vertical can be vastly different, and as such, the criteria that would represent true success is hard to measure in the ways we generally try to measure these things.

In the Microsoft Office 365 area, you have Quest Software, BinaryTree, MigrationWiz etc. They have tools available for Exchange Migrations, SharePoint Migrations... Notes to Exchange Migrations etc. more

Will most companies require a hybrid model that will connect information between the cloud and the content behind the firewall?

Latency and complexity will dictate how companies will move in this direction. Complexity entails cost. Latency and network consideration entail performance. You need less complexity and more bandwith in general. Answering these two issues will dictate how companies move forward. more
