Dr. Pieter Poll is Chief Technology Officer for Qwest Communications. Dr. Poll has spent more than 20 years in the telecommunications industry. He served as VP of Corporate Strategy for Mahi Networks, played an integral role in AT&T Bell Laboratories and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS). Dr. Poll graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and mathematics. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in physics at Cornell University. Dr. Poll has been called on to share his expertise with various IT publications, and his discussions on new IT innovations have appeared on Forbes.com, ZDnet.com & BNet.com.
